Bodiam Castle Wedding
East Sussex
Wedding photography
The last, ever wedding at Bodiam castle was held on 14th May, on a beautiful, sunny day and I had the pleasure of capturing it!
Lizzie and Jim originally hoped for a summer wedding, but when the National trust team at Bodiam Castle explained that weddings were going to stop being held at the Castle from 15th May, they booked the 14th, and had everything crossed that the sun would shine.
And the sun certainly shone! The day was a perfect mixture of sunshine, laughter, great people and the love shone through.
The lawn was used to greet guests. With the backdrop of the castle it was the perfect spot for a quick beer and a nibble before the arrival of the bride.
A small, intimate wedding, in a grand location
The bride arrived in style....
The ceremony at the Castle was perfect. The sun was low and created some beautiful light. You could see the closeness and love between Lizzie and Jim and the ceremony went without a hitch. Even a perfectly timed hot air balloon hovering over, during the signing.
A lovely couple of hours spent with a lovely couple.
Congratulations Mr and Mrs Colston
